Icons List

Each icon in the book is matched with a place to stay, because what’s the use of wanting to see these areas and iconic species if you cannot get there? We have chosen tourism partners that we believe, in various ways, are the best match. Sometimes it is purely the amazing location, at other times the conservation ethic of the operator and at other times because, frankly, the area is so remote there is no one else operating there.

An important aspect of the book is that the icons we feature are dedicated not only to showcasing these amazing places, but to protecting them as well. By going there, you will help to conserve these areas and in the long term ensure that they will still be there for your children and your children’s children to see.
